McGrath U16s Dominate Season Opener with Back-to-Back Wins

The McGrath U16s traveled to HoopDome over the weekend to kick off their OBL season with two impressive wins. They defeated North Toronto 58-33 and followed it up with a 56-30 victory over Dundas.

The team stayed focused despite the noisy and distracting environment, excelling in defensive communication, ball movement, and running the floor on offense. Key contributors included Abby Rumig and Molly Cook-Martin with strong rebounding, Keira Rivers and Carmen Gonzalez with smothering on-ball defense, and consistent shooting from Paige McGrath, Logan Potts, and Brooklyn Maracle. It was a true team effort that led to these commanding wins.

Next up, the team heads to Ottawa for the Chris Paulin Tournament on December 14-15.
