Hi all,

I am pleased to announce that the St. Lawrence Lightning Basketball Club will be running our Spring Development Program again in 2026.

We will run 16+ 2 hr practices in May – June and participate in 3 travel events again this year including the Summer Slam in Montreal June 26-28.

The selection process will occur via 2 open Talent ID sessions at Regiopolis-Notre Dame CHS (Kingston):
Friday Feb 13 6pm – 8pm
Friday Mar 6 6pm – 8pm

We will be looking at competitive female basketball players born in 2009-2014 and hoping to form 3 teams across the U13-U17 level.

During each session, players will participate in a series of drills and game play while coaches observe and evaluate. We do our best to make these sessions high energy and fun. So even if a player doesn’t make a team, we feel that these sessions will be worth it for all who attend.

Our goal is to identify up to 30 athletes who we feel are the most ready and in the best position to maximize their development at this time. We may take more or fewer depending on the level of interest and the overall level of play.

Cost to attend 1 or both sessions is $40.
