U19 Season Recap

The Profit U19 team had a successful season by any metric.  We started slowly as we had very little experience playing with one another.  However, we came together, improved our individual skills, and our team play.  We finished the OBL season with 7 wins and 5 losses which placed us in the bottom division for the Ontario Cup.  In the round robin play, we played 3 very tight games but prevailed in each of them.  This set up the gold medal game against a team we had a 1 win and 1 loss record against.  However, we saved the best for last and won a blowout game in which we were never threatened, 54-34.  Many thanks to the parents and players for their effort and dedication throughout the season – our efforts paid off!
